Pawna Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, the parent body of Pawna Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Institute, was established by Prof Balasaheb S Landge.in 1992. It is a public trust registered body. Registered in the year 1992 by Prof. Balasaheb Shankarrao Landge well known sports personality in Maharashtra . He is working in sports field for many years, taking in account of his working in sports. Maharashtra government has awarded him Shiv. Chhatrapati award in 1992-93. Prof Balasaheb Landge came from a farmer's family in village with no educational background. He was the first graduate from his village in 1964.

He is also a Exceptional Grade International Referee in Wrestling and worked as Referee, Judge in Olympics, Asian , World Championships, Commonwealth and many other International sports competitions. He is a qualified Wrestling Coach of Indian wrestling Team participated in the Munich Olympic in 1972.

It is gratifying to note that around thousand students were enrolled in our Institutions. Pawna Shikshan Prasarak Mandal runs primary and secondary schools. It conducts colleges and institutions of physical Education. This college is well reputed for the infrastructural facilities and academic excellence they have achieved.
